Eminent George Moore specialist, Robert Becker, has set up an interactive website, devoted to all things Moore related. The website is a very rich source for art links (over 140 pictures and growing), encompassing iconography, bibliography, history etc. We much appreciate Bob's specialist knowledge which will be a valuable resource now and in the future.
The Irish Merchant of Aiicante
A new publication about the Moore family which may be of interest to Moore scholars, was launched lately in Claremorris. Written by the American based author, Michael Gerard, originally from Mayo, ‘The Irish Merchant of Alicante’ explores four generations of the Moore family and their links with Spain. The book is available to purchase on Amazon, and various bookshops in Mayo. More information about the book and author is available online on the RTE culture site and the Mayo News
